ack. my brain is totally burnt out from *illegal number* hours of hardcore *illegal activity*-ing. aish but i'm happy man.

NEE-WAYS!

i shall dedicate this post to none other than my completely awesome band(age) crew members. specifically my band(age) pub comm. members, for whom there can be no replacement.

umm. where do i begin.

the stuff we did was just so effing lame, i think i WOULD be seriously (ah-shincha-yo!) emotionally scarred for ever if not for the company. on the contrary i think the past few days were the best times i've ever had for a long time.

the jingle. oh man the jingle. doodes that was a complete stroke of genius. all the information stuck in one idiotic, annoying, rhyming poem. i just wonder how people're going to remember us. xD we sec four leh! k la but sec four supposed to do significant things. "embarrassed ourselves publicly in front of the whole school", check.

fast-forward to audi deco.

i remember the first "brainwave".

ahahaha and the real purposeful "grunging" seriously began when our very own HYUNG-NIM dao chang!
like abby said.
"this is zoe on a normal day. she see the grunge stars, she start screaming 'AHHH WHY LIDDAT?!?! oh man it looks like crap!' (or something to that effect)."
and what did zoe on a pubcommistreatedlikeshhh-ahhcannotsay day?
"ey quite nice eh!"
and the star incident. zoe tey produced (as in drew, cut and painted) a cardboard star that was seriously koyak. the top point was bent to one side. for further imagery, just imagine Patrick the starfish from spongebob squarepants.
abby: "this is zoe on a normal day. she see this kind of star, she will yell 'oh man WHAT HAPPEN? throw it away la!'"
zoe tey on a pubcommistreatedlike-somethingthatrhymeswithmisfit day: [very serious] no really you see this star? it looks like it's bowing to you, right?
AHHAHAHAHA after that we officially certified her hyunghyungnimnim. [note hyung means older brother in korean. joke came about because sandra seriously couldn't take the concept of "grunge stars". so abby say "sandra. guys like grunge stars. we are just getting into the mindset of guys." and i point at her and yell "HYUNG!" - yeah but i'm older la. and i'd know because, well, her birthday is on the seventeenth of september and i'd know that because, well, haha i er play neopets. ^^ hacked her account. ANYWAY sandra chua ah. don't you know suju is always changing their image. i mean look at what happened to their hair in don't don. similarly, as hardcore suju fans we must always be open to new ideas and concepts! xD then you will be a true dongsaeng ^^]

aii pub comm srsly... we were made to make, put up and *swallows hard* take down the deco on the same day. srsly la OUCH.

hmm i wonder why people still haven't noticed the *beep* in the *beep*. so big and yet people make us clean the thousand times smaller black drops of paint right next to it. humans are so weird xD i just hope people don't notice the *beep* on the *beep* on the grass patch. ^^
Did The Stupidest Things Ever For Publicity Award

Stayed Back In School Latest To Finish A Job Award
of course this is all relative la. i mean we WERE the latest to go home on friday - 11.30 p.m. sandra and i were having a nap on the art room tables after lugging all the half-finished deco up to the art room. haha i keep wondering what would have happened if mrs chen hadn't found us there. prolly'd have camped out there overnight and gone home after the concert at whatever time we went home on the next day - which incidentally, was a little past 12a.m.

and of course -
Best Budget Production Award.
i think it started with the banner. because i said that stupid line concerning where we going to get money for the banner - "You won't know about it."
after that everything also save cost. painted the banner with lethal wall paint and left a super big impression at X.
make the goliath plasters also save cost. begged the popular peeps at btp for their old cardboard boxes and abigail went digging around in the recycling bin under the staircase for more old cardboard boxes.
buy stiff black paper in the end also buy the more flaccid kind. cuz why? seventy cents cheaper.
white drapes for the audi also come free from the drama club.
travel to btp also must walk.
buy lunch also must eat at hawker centre. if not then get wholesale from supermarket.
hanging up decoration also have to work in the dark.
srsly la i think we saved over a hundred bucks with all that saving.

HAHA i think we were the ones who laughed the hardest when we saw what was for dinner man - innocent chicken rice - "haha construction worker food" - and even more so on the day before, where we got some seriously suspicious looking rendang with rice and veggie for dinner. it was brown, sludgy, and it looked just like - "PUB COMM FOOD!!!!!" "AHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!"

and the bu liang shao nian from pub comm also. i stare at [read: admire] my blackened "hand of glory" after painting all the black stars on the white drapes. "wah i look like some chain smoker"
and of course abigail say "haha we look like drunkards man! later when ms lau come you pretend to smoke zoe you sniff the paint and-" running out of ideas, abby, sann and min feng just roll around the ground in the normal pub comm-esque manner.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA aii i think at the end of the day, i wouldn't trade my pub comm job for ANYTHING.

to abigail: you were a BRILLIANT ic, i couldn't say this enough times okay maybe i can but AH SHINCHA-YO i mean it you were BRILLIANT. srsly surpassed expectations. from the beginning man you even had a PROPOSAL for how the banner should look like. annen you always forking out the money for whatever materials we bought. annen bringing pineapple tarts on saturday - FULL MARKS FOR WELFARE OF MEMBERS MAN!!! haha and sharing your lunch one saturday later for our breakfast. y' really didn't need to but you did! xD and taking the initiative to go and tie everything to the aircon- sann and i were saying you were up there for like FOREVER and yeah you really gave your all for the pub comm man especially since most of your members were um really really scared of heights (okay maybe just me. oh no wait sandra too! yeah anyway proves my point.)
mm yeah anyway just - a really big THANK YOU! i don't think we could have done it without any one of us but most of all we couldn't have pulled through without an awesome leader - always first to chiong into the fire, trusted her members and to top it off all knew the lyrics to MIRACLE! - what more could i want? xD

and to everyone ELSE even though i know you're not going to read this - thanks to min feng who made the vids, who endured our korean spazzes and got her hands dirty in the end even though she was the one who didn't even begin on the change to hyung-ism, to our very own beloved HYUNG-NIM [zoe is no more] who was always a catalyst for leaving your members rolling around the floor nearly unconscious from laughter, and who also had to endure korean spazzes BUT who still learnt the tune to our theme song "miracle" and you still love us don't you? (: - and finally to sandra chua, cuz you were always there when i just couldn't take the pubcomm-ness of it all sometimes, and cuz you were a fantastic DJ. xD y'know i'm really... startingtolikeDBSKnow. AHHHHH

hahaha ANYWAY! basically, THANK YOU ALL FOR EVERYTHING!! for all the fun and love and building-of-abs; seriously i couldn't have gotten a better workout on the stomach muscles doing crunches.
